Pre-Game Blurb:

I don't know what motivated me to write this, it's pretty, well, strange, frankly.  (I notice I have an issue with commas, and how much I use them.)  It was a bit cathartic for me, though, so it's kind of close to my heart (ooo corn!)... Dean's reaction to John's death really hit a note with me.  Thankfully, I've not yet had to deal with the death of a family member- close or not (excepting when I was a babe, and all my grandparents passed, but that doesn't really count.), but emotional strains on my life are dealt with in solitude for the most part.  I think that one gets to a point when they've supported people so often, that they don't need people to blatantly seek out ways to support them anymore.  So, when someone tries to, it's more like a "oh, just please STFU already." reaction.  Not sure that made any sense, this is what happens when I procrastinate, and then decide to explore Dean's head.  Anyway, I really feel like I empathized with Dean- though that may be some deluded thoughts, who knows- but it hit me.  And it hit me hard.
